Jaguars finish 15th at Trak Kat Klash

HOUSTON, Tx | Southern finished 15th in the Trak Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston over the weekend. 

Jailyn Rogers finished with an average of 181.60 in five matches for the (36th) finishing with a total of 908 pins.

Southern (12-13) won four matches on the opening day of the tournament in Baker play opening with wins over Adelphi University 813-798, Newman University 888-879 and Lewis University 813-760. The Jaguars dropped the next match 936-756 to McKendree University. SU finished out day one with a win over Oklahoma Christian 870-805.

The Jaguars opened day two in Traditional play dropping the first match to Prairie View (819-712). They bounced back in the next two matches defeating Maryland Eastern Shore (910-901) and Alabama State (844-805). They fell in the last two matches of the day to Central Missouri (906-818) and McKendree University (892-796).

In bracket play, Southern won its first match to Prairie View 4-2, before dropping to Lewis University 4-2 in elimination bracket play. In their last match of the weekend the Jaguars defeated Prairie View 4-2.
