JAI Events

The Jaguar Athletics Internship Program (JAI) builds a community of exemplary undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students across Baton Rouge by exposing them to real experiences within the Athletic world. Interns will be a tremendous resource for the Department of Athletics and contribute greatly to our SUccesses. In addition, many career opportunities in the industry may develop for our interns as a result of the valuable experiences they gain while here. Although this is an unpaid internship, fellows are given substantial development, advancement, and social opportunities.

Events hosted for JAI are aimed to foster professional growth, networking, team bonding. The objective of these events are to provide our interns with a platform to connect with industry professionals, gain insights into their respective fields, and build relationships that can potentially shape their future careers. Your sponsorship will not only showcase your commitment to education and youth development but also provide you with a unique opportunity to engage with talented young individuals who could be future leaders in their respective industries.

Thank you to all of our special speakers and sponsors so far: Garrett Edgerson - Founder and CEO of DaEdge1 Productions, LLC. , Courtney Scott - Assistant Chief Administrative Officer for Mayor Sharon Westen Broome, SoLou, Main Event, Rasing Canes, and The New Orleans Pelicans.
