Bowling Looking Forward To SWAC West Round Up Set for Jan. 17-19

D'Iberville, Ms | The Southern University bowling team is set to compete in the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference West Round-Up this weekend at the Cypress Lanes in D'Iberville, Mississippi and defend their back-to-back SWAC regular season championships.

All eight bowling teams in the conference will participate in the first of two conference competitions that will determine the regular season conference champion. Competition will start on Friday at 10 a.m. and conclude on Sunday, with the first event starting at 9 a.m. Admission is free to the public. The eight teams will return to Cypress Lanes for the 2025 SWAC East Round-Up on February 7-9.

The complete schedule for the SWAC Bowling West Round-Up can be found here. Southern will face Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Prairie View, Grambling State and Jackson State on day one. Day two the Jaguars will face Florida A&M, Texas Southern, Alabama State, Alabama A&M and Prairie View. On the final day of competition, they will face Grambling State, Jackson State, Florida A&M and Texas Southern.
