Southern Bowling Claims Third Consecutive SWAC Regular Season Title

D'IBERVILLE, MS | The Southern University women's bowling team finished 11-3 in the SWAC East Round Up to claim a share of the 2025 SWAC Regular Season title with Alabama State University on Sunday afternoon.

The Jaguars finished 21-7 over the SWAC West and East Round Ups to claim their third consecutive SWAC Regular Season title under head coach Barry Doyle.

Southern had 25,780 pin falls and a 920.71 average over the 28 matches.

Jailyn Rogers and Nyla Wilson landed in the top 10 in the overall individual standings.

Rogers knocked down 5397 pins for a 192.75 average to claim fourth overall. Wilson finished seventh with 5264 pin falls and a 188.00 average.

Kelsey Quinney totaled 5134 pins and a 183.36 average to place 14^th while Naomi Smith finished 20^th with 5046 pins and a 180.21 average. Darian Mobley finished 24^th totaling 4939 pins and a 176.39 average.

The SWAC Bowling Championship Tournament is scheduled for March 21-23 in Arlington, Texas and will be held at the ITRC.
