Southern University Athletics is excited to welcome the community to one of our most cherished annual events, Jags Day on the Bluff, occuring on April 25, 2026 at the A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Jags Day on the Bluff is a community field day open to the Baton Rouge community where children between the ages of 5 and 12 can experience a full day of play with a series of modified sports around Southern University Athletics facilities and the unmatched presence Southern University Athletics brings worldwide.

This is an opportunity to invite the community and celebrate our efforts to educate and promote youth physical activity through our Southern University sports program. Participants will rotate through six different sport stations supervised by either Southern University student-athletes and/or athletics support staff members.
