BATON ROUGE, LA— The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2022-23 All-SWAC Men's Basketball teams and individual award winners on Tuesday afternoon. The all-conference honors were voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors.
Whitley was the Jaguars leading scorer averaging 11.5 points per game, which also ranked him 16th in the conference. Whitley is also ranked 5
th in the conference with 2.2 three point field goals attempted per game. Against Grambling on January 14
th, he had a season high in scoring with 32 points shooting 5-of-11 from the 3-point line and a perfect 5-of-5 from charity stripe.
