BATON ROUGE, LA – The men's basketball game scheduled between Prairie View A&M and Southern University slated to be played on Wednesday, January 5 at the F.G. Clark Activity Center has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.
These actions follow the guidelines and protocols set forth by the league and its Sports Administrators Committee and COVID-19 Advisory Committee.
Prairie View A&M men's basketball team is currently in COVID-19 Protocol and will not travel to Baton Rouge. Per the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) office, the cancellation will count as a win for the Jaguars making SU 2-0 in conference play.
The women's basketball game scheduled between Prairie View A&M and Southern University will still be played on Wednesday, January 5 at 5:30pm inside the F.G. Clark Activity Center.

The Jaguars continue SWAC play as they hit the road to Florida with a visit to Florida A&M on Saturday, January 8
th with a 4:00 PM tip-off or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.
