BATON ROUGE, LA - Southern Baseball hosts hands-on summer camp for high school players from six different states focusing on individual position play, hitting fundamentals, and game experience. Players also received instructions in strength training and baseball agility exercises.

The camp is led by Jaguars Head Coach Chris Crenshaw and the entire SU Baseball coaching staff, along with numerous of players from the 2021 SWAC Championship team.

"Camp was a success! We had a good hot day with no rain for a change. We had 60 kids with a lot of good talent from surrounding area's in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Kansas, Alabama, and Tennessee. "I would like to say thank you to the parents for attending and having patience with the Jaguars Baseball program",  said Head Coach Chris Crenshaw.
