In his first season on the Bluff, Williams was a pivotal contributor, providing much needed rebounding and athleticism. Helped guide the Jaguars to a second place regular season finish and winning the last 14-out-16 games on the season. He averaged 6.5 points per game in 32 games, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Started 19 games, averaging 25.5 minutes per game. Made 89 field goals shooting 55.6 percent. Had seven games in double figure scoring and two double-doubles. Season-high 15 points twice in a win at Mississippi Valley State (1/20) and in a win at home in the SWAC Quarterfinal versus Alabama State (3/10). Had four games in double digit rebounds with season-high 13 at Nebraska (11/22), 12 at Murray State (11/9), 12 at Nebraska Omaha (11/25) and 12 versus Mississippi Valley State (2/17). Scored 208 points on the season, along with 192 rebounds, 50 assist, 24 blocks and 12 steals.
