Baton Rouge, La. – With Opening Night just 11 days away, Southern baseball enters its penultimate week of preseason action as the Jaguars continue preparations for the 2026 campaign. The week features six open practices highlighted by five intra-squad scrimmages at Lee–Hines Stadium.
Southern will work around an off day on Thursday while holding scrimmages on Monday (3:30 p.m.), Tuesday (4:45 p.m.), Friday (4:45 p.m.), Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.). Wednesday's session is scheduled as a practice-only day beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Preseason practices and scrimmages are open to the public. Fans may enter through the main gate of Lee–Hines Stadium, located directly behind home plate.
