Men's Tennis Set To Face Alcorn State in 2025 SWAC Tennis Tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced its 2025 SWAC Men's Tennis Tournament seedings featuring the league's top six teams at the conclusion of regular season play.
 
Regular season champion Alabama State enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed (6-0, SWAC) earning a first-round bye and advancing to the semifinals round of the tournament. Alabama A&M claimed the No. 2 seed (5-1, SWAC) also earning a first-round bye and advancing to the semifinals round.

Jackson State claimed the No. 3 seed (4-2, SWAC) in the tournament followed by No. 4 seed Alcorn State (3-3, SWAC). Prairie View A&M (2-4, SWAC) and Southern (1-5, SWAC) claimed the final two tournament bids and will enter the tournament as the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds respectively.

In the event of a tie in conference records the league's tiebreaker policy was used to determine final seedings.
 
The 2025 SWAC Men's Tennis Tournament is scheduled to be played on April 18-20 at City Park Tennis Center located in New Orleans, La. The quarterfinals round will begin on Friday, April 18 at 5:00 pm CST.
