Southern Earns SWAC West No. 4 Seed in Conference Baseball Tournament

TOURNAMENT BRACKET

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Southern University baseball team enters the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Baseball Tournament as the No. 4 seed from the SWAC Western Division. The Jaguars will take on SWAC Eastern Division No. 1 seed Florida A&M on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Russ Chandler Stadium on the campus of Georgia Tech. 
 
The Jaguars earned the fourth seed after finishing the regular season with a 22-27 overall record and an 15-12 mark in conference play.
 
SU and FAMU met earlier this season in the Andre Dawson Classic, with the Jaguars falling to the Rattlers. 
 
The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format with action set to start at 9:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, May 22nd with games slated to run through May 26th.
