BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2022 SWAC Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish with Florida A&M tabbed as the league favorite heading into the season. The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
 
Florida A&M was picked to finish first in the league while tallying a league-leading 13 first-place votes.
 
Jackson State was selected to finish second followed by Alabama State (3^rd), Prairie View A&M (4^th), and Southern (5^th) to round out the top five preseason selections. 
 
Arkansas-Pine Bluff was picked sixth while Alabama A&M was tabbed to finish in seventh place. Bethune-Cookman (8^th), Texas Southern (9^th), Grambling State (10^th), Alcorn State (11^th), and Mississippi Valley State (12^th) round out the list of preseason poll selections. 
 
The 2022 SWAC Volleyball regular season is set to begin on Friday, August 26^th with several league teams in action. The 2022 SWAC Volleyball Tournament will be held Nov. 18-20 on the campus of Texas Southern University.
