The Jaguars picked up eight runs off thirteen hits on the day. In the first inning Burgos doubled to left center to send Jovante Dorris racing across home plate to give the Jags their first run of the day. In the third inning Burgos homered over the left field wall. Taj Porter takes his second pitch over the left field wall to pick up a two-run homer bring in Spears to pull the Jags within one run, 5-4. In the seventh inning Spears singled to the right field wall to bring in Jaylen Armstrong and Dorris. In the eighth inning Rollon tied the ballgame up 7-7 off a singled to left center by Burgos. In the ninth inning Jalon Mack scored the winning run off a sac-fly to left field by Rollon. 

"Joseph Battaglia was resilient today. He stayed the course all day to give us a chance to be successful and we played hard to the end, said Chris Crenshaw, Southern Head Coach."

Enrique Ozoa picks up his fourth win of the season throwing 20 pitches with two strike outs and only giving up one hit in the final inning of the ball game. The Jaguars scoring came from Dorris with two runs. Armstrong, Mack, Burgos, Porter and Spears with one run each.

SU is 25-29, 21-9 SWAC on the season.
