The Jaguars picked up eight runs off eight hits on the day. In the fifth inning
Hunter Tabb doubled to left field sending Taj Porter home to give the Jags their first run of the day. Jaylen Armstrong singled to shortstop to advance Justin Wiley to second and sent Tabb home to pullk the Jaguars with in five runs of the Rattlers, 7-2. Wiley scored off an error by the Rattlers second baseman. O'Neill Burgos singled straight up the middle of the field to send Jovante Dorris and Armstrong home to cap off a five run inning for the Jaguars. In the seventh inning Dorris hit a line drive right down the right field line to send Armstrong home to cut the Rattlers lead to one, 7-6. Tremaine Spears doubled down the right field line to send Burgos and Dorris racing across home plate to pick up the Jags final two runs of the day.
"We got off to a slow start and battled back to come out on top.
Jerry Burkett II and Anthony Fidanza stayed solid on the mound and gave the hitters some time to figure out there pitchers.

Burkett II picks up his first win of the season and Enrique Ozoa picked up his third save of the season. The Jaguars scoring came from
Dorris and Armstrong with two runs each. Burgos, Porter, Tabb and Wiley with one run each.
SU is 26-29, 21-9 SWAC on the season.
