Box Score The Jaguars picked up five runs off eight hits on the day. In the first inning Jovante Dorris and O'Neill Burgos scored back-to-back giving the Jags an early 2-0 lead over the seventeenth ranked team in the country. In the third inning JJ Rollon picks up the Jags third run of the day giving them a 3-1 edge over the Bobcats. In the seventh inningJaylen Armstrong stole third off a throwing error by the Bobcats catcher. Justin Wiley scored SU final run of the day. 
 
"We faced one the hottest teams in college baseball this weekend. They definitely capitalize on our mistakes this weekend, but we did some good things this weekend as well, said Chris Crenshaw, Southern Head Coach. Hopefully we can get healthy during the week to get us ready for conference play next weekend! 

Anthony Fidanza goes 2-1 on the season. The Jaguars scoring came from Wiley, Dorris, Burgos, Armstrong and Rollon with one run each.

SU is 3-13 on the season.

Southern will be back in action on Friday, March 18th as they open up Southwestern Athletic Conference play for a weekend series at University of Arkansas- Pine Bluff. First pitch is slated for 3 PM.
