BATON ROUGE, LA — Southern University baseball continues its fall preparations this week as the Jaguars gear up for their second exhibition match-up against Loyola on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Jaguars will host the exhibition as part of a busy week of practices and scrimmages at Lee-Hines Stadium, giving the team another opportunity to build chemistry and evaluate its progress during fall workouts.
After opening the week with a scheduled day off Monday, Southern returns to the field Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. The Jaguars will hold another team practice Wednesday before taking part in a Thursday scrimmage, with first pitch scheduled for 3:45 p.m.
Southern will continue preparations Friday with a 2:45 p.m. practice before facing Loyola in Saturday's exhibition. The Jaguars will wrap up the week Sunday with another team practice at Lee-Hines Stadium. A start time has not been announced.
