Senior guard Amani Mcwain led all scorers with 13 points, six rebounds and four steals. Kayla Watson finished the day with 10 points, six rebounds, one assist and two steals. Nakia Kincey chipped in eight points, four assists and three boards in twenty-eight minutes of play.

The Lady Jaguars defense forced the Lady Wildcats to 22 turnovers, picking up 24 points off turnovers. SU played twelve players with eleven landing in the scoring column. Southern shot 44 percent for the game (27-62) and shot 31 percent from behind the arc (4-13). SU shot 47 percent from the charity stripe finishing (7-15)

Kayla Clark recorded a double-double for the Lady Wildcats finishing the day with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Southern will be back in action on Monday night for Senior Night as they take on Florida A&M (Feb. 28th). All games will be streamed live on Jaguar Sports Network. Tip offs are slated for 5:30 PM.
