"We did a great defensively tonight especially in the second and third quarters. Offensively we didn't get many shots to fall early but we kept playing hard. I knew that eventually we would get some shots to fall as long as we continue to execute, said
Carlos Funchess SU Head Coach. It was a total team and I so proud of our senior class for getting the victory in their last home game!"
The Lady Jaguars defense forced the Lady Rattlers to 223 turnovers, picking up 21 points off turnovers. SU played fourteen players with eleven landing in the scoring column. Southern shot 42 percent for the game (24-57) and shot 25 percent from behind the arc (3-12). SU shot 468 percent from the charity stripe finishing (15-22).
