FRESHMAN YEAR AT BATON ROUGE CC (2017-18)
Kayla started in 22 games for the Lady Bears... She averaged 30 minutes per game, 13 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game and 1.8 assist per game... Kayla was named BRCC Red and White Awards, Female Athlete of the Year... She was also named by the Women's Basketball coaching staff newcomer of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL
Kayla attended Amite High School, where she was coached by Rena Pierre... She served as captain for one year for the Lady Warriors...  During her senior season she averaged 22 points a game en route to 22-7 team record...  She was named to the All State Honorable Mention team...  She also ran track while in high school.
