BATON ROUGE, LA – The Southern University women's tennis team will play 17 matches during the months of January, February, March and April with three of the matches being played in Baton Rouge here on campus.
 
SU opens the season with a match against LSU (Jan 16), Tulane (Jan 29), ULL (Feb.5), Nicholls State (Feb.7) and Houston (Feb. 13). They then travel to Jackson, Mississippi for a round-up with Bethune-Cookman, Alabama A&M and Jackson State on February 17^th through February 19^th.
 
The Lady Jaguars then play host to Southeastern Louisiana on February 23^rd before traveling to Montgomery, Alabama for another round-up against Mississippi Valley, Alcorn State and Alabama State on March 11^th through the 13^th.
 
The Lady Jags return home for a match against Prairie View A&M on March 19^th.   
 
Southern will round out their regular season against Florida A&M (Mar. 26), Southeastern Louisiana (Mar. 30) and Grambling State (Apr. 2) before closing out against Incarnate Word (Apr. 9).
