BATON ROUGE, LA -- Southern University football received signatures from seven student-athletes for the 2021 signing class.
Bringing the Jaguars signees to 14. The group, which consists of student-athletes from Canada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana on Wednesday's early signing day.
"We really wanted to fill in some needs going into the fall semester," head coach Dawson Odums said. "Even though we've got guys who got an extra year, we're going to lose some safeties in December. Having those guys here puts us ahead on next year's class. They're not guys we have to have ready to play when they come in. They'll add to the depth we already have."
