BATON ROUGE, LA — Southern University junior running back Trey Holly is making his presence felt across the Southwestern Athletic Conference and on the national stage, establishing himself as one of the top rushing threats in the Football Championship Subdivision.
Through seven games, Holly leads the SWAC with 673 rushing yards on 139 carries, averaging 4.8 yards per attempt and 96.1 yards per game. His consistent production has also earned him a spot among the nation's elite, ranking 12th in the FCS in rushing yards.
Holly has scored six rushing touchdowns this season, further solidifying his role as a key contributor to the Jaguars' offensive attack. His longest run of the season covers 69 yards, highlighting his ability to break through defenses and turn routine carries into explosive plays.
