Southern opened its 2013 campaign with a 7-0 loss to No. 45 LSU Saturday evening at "Dub" Robinson Stadium on the LSU campus.
The Jaguars relinquished the doubles point after the Lady Tigers No. 2 doubles team of Mary Jeremiah and Ariel Morton defeated Morgan Taylor and Camera Davis 8-4. LSU's No. 3 doubles team of Ebie Wilson and Keri Frankenberger defeated Kendall Bunch and Danielle Dixon 8-3 winning the first double match.
LSU would move on to claim all six singles points providing the match's final score.
