BATON ROUGE, LA -- The 2026 selection process for USA Basketball Foundation's Women in the Game conference scholarships proved to be the most competitive yet. With a record-breaking 241 applications submitted, each representing driven, passionate women eager to advance their careers in the sports industry, the decision-making process was anything but easy.

Every application told a powerful story—of perseverance, ambition, and a deep commitment to shaping the future of sports. Narrowing that pool required careful consideration, as the talent and determination were exceptional across the board.

From this remarkable group, 16 outstanding women were selected to attend the conference in Phoenix this April. Among them is Taylor De Bourg, whose dedication, resilience, and vision stood out in an already extraordinary field of candidates. Taylor's achievement reflects not only personal excellence but also the strength and potential of women continuing to break barriers in the industry.
