BATON ROUGE, LA. – Southern baseball releases its 2025 schedule on Thursday, as the Jaguars looks ahead to its full 54-game slate for the upcoming season.
Southern will participate in 25 non-conference pairings, 10 of which will be played at Lee – Hines Field. Included in those 10 home match ups are three-game weekend sets with Saint Peters out of the MAAC (Feb. 28 -March 2). Lee - Hines will also play host to single-game midweeks with 7 different opponents to round out the home slate.
The Jaguar's non-conference road match ups are highlighted by 3 SEC schools, 4 Southland schools, 1 SunBelt school, and 1 SoCon. Southern will open at the Cactus Jack Classic (Feb. 14-16) in Houston, Tx., with Texas Southern, Grambling State, and Prairie View scheduled to play the Jags at Minute Maid Ballpark. SU will also take on Jackson State, Florida A&M, and Missouri at Andre Dawson Classic in Vero Beach, FL (Feb. 21-23) at Jackie Robinson Complex.
Southern will also play LSU, Dillard, Xavier(LA), Mercer, Louisiana Lafayette, Incarnate Word, New Orleans, Mississippi State, Nicholls, and McNeese State.
