Series Opener Rained Out; Doubleheader Scheduled for Saturday vs Alabama State

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southern University baseball program's weekend series opener against Alabama State was rained out Friday at Lee-Hines Stadium.

Southern (3-7) and the Hornets (6-5) are now scheduled to play a 3:00 p.m. doubleheader Saturday. All games are slated for coverage on www.jaguarsportsnetwork.com. Sunday series finale will start at 2:00 p.m.

Southern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted for free. Fans with tickets to Friday's game can use them for admission to Saturday's first game.
