HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Southern scored seven runs in two innings.
  • New Orleans scored six runs in the eighth inning to take their first lead of the day.
  • Lasseigne pitched one inning seeing five batters giving up two runs off three hits.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • Southern finished the night with twelve hits and New Orleans finished the night with thirteen hits.
  • Both Southern and New Orleans committed no errors on the day.
  • Southern left eleven runners on base, while New Orleans left ten.
  • Southern struck out eleven times, while New Orleans struck out seven times.
  • Gustavo Nava Sanchez picked up the Jags first run of the day off home run over the left field wall. Nava Sanchez led the Jaguars with three runs while Jalon Mack and Donnell Sandifer scored two runs each. Ryan Ollison and KJ White scored one run each.
  • Seven different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Nathaniel Lai, Jacoby Radcliffe, Nava Sanchez, Sandifer and White finished with two hits each. Mack and Ollison finished the day with one hit each.
UP NEXT
The Jaguars will be back in action for a weekend series in San Antonio, TX against University of the Incarnate Word on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. First pitch on Friday is slated for  6:30 PM.
