Ryan Ollison was born on May 11, 2001 in Carrollton, TX to Robin and Scott Ollison. He was a part of the Hopkinsville Hoppers travel team. His father played MLB Phillies player. A sophomore majoring in therapeutic rehab, Ryan chose to attend Southern “to make sure HBCUs start getting more recognition.” His favorite memory was when he pinch hit to win the game at PV.
