Southern Men Finish Sixth at SWAC Championship

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Lafayette Collins led the Jaguars with a 15^th place finish to help Southern finish sixth overall on Monday morning.

Collins ran a time of 28:23.4. Marciano Taylor finished 20^th overall with a time of 29:07.5
meanwhile, Christian Phillips finished 23^rd overall with a time of 29:22.9, followed by Cameron Stepter with a time of 29:32.1. for a 26^th place finish. Bryce Campbell crossed with a time of 30:08.8 for 30^th and Ta'Cardrick Alexander finished with a time of 30:10.5 for 31^st place. The last three Jaguars finished back to back was Darrell Lacour with a time of 31:08.4, Rushane Miller 31:24.8 and Christopher Hughes 31:28.3.

Southern finished sixth overall with 114 points, finishing just behind Alabama State, UAPB, Alcorn State, Prairie View finished second, just behind eventual champion Texas Southern.
