"As always we play a really tough non-conference schedule and nothing has changed this year. We open the season versus Iowa and the nation's leading scorer Caitlin Clark. We will also play several other teams from the Big 12 as well as the Pac 12. This year we were able to schedule two in-state schools in Northwestern State and Tulane, said Carlos Funchess, Southern Women's Basketball Head Coach. One of our biggest non-conference games of the year will be on November 14th when we host the University of Oregon here at the FG Clark Activity Center. Overall I think we have a solid non-conference schedule that will help prepare us for our conference".
