THIBODAUX, La. – The Southern University Men's Cross-Country team traveled to Thibodaux, Louisiana for the Nicholls XC Invitational Saturday Morning.
The Jaguars came away with a fourth-place finish with an average time of 23:40.36 in the four-mile race, about 6.5k.
Lafayette Collins,
Nicholas Scott and Christian Phillips lead the Jaguars finishing 24th, 25th and 26th respectively. Collins, whose 6k personal best is 20:03.1, finished at 22:26.78 for the four mile. Scott set a personal best of 22:35.13 and Phillips was right behind at 22:38.0.

Teremine White said of his teams finish.
Rounding out the Jaguars lineup was Bryce Campbell in 33rd and Ta'Cardrick Alexander in 54th. Campbell finished at 23:10.51, while Alexander finished at 27"31.38.
"Our guys are running well at this part of the season," White continued. "We look forward to our upcoming meets, for both the men and women. We will look to continue to improve our times."
Next Up
The Jaguars will be back in action on September 23 for the LSU Invitational at the University Club. Men will start their 6k at 8:15 a.m. and the women will run a 5k starting at 9 a.m.
