BATON ROUGE, LA. -- This Week in Southern University Athletics – August 29th – September 4th.
 
The Southern University Lady Jaguars soccer team continue non-conference play as they travel to Lake Charles, LA for a matches against McNeese. The overtime live tv show will be back on Wednesday at TJ Ribs featuring Head Football Coach Eric Dooley and Head Volleyball Coach Venessa Jacobs. Women's volleyball team continue regular season play as they travel to Thibodaux, LA for a cluster of games against Nicholls, Southern Illinois and UC San Diego. On Saturday, the cross-country teams travel to New Orleans for a meet. Also on Saturday the Eric Dooley Era of Jaguar Football kicks off their season at home for the Pete Richardson Classic against Florida Memorial. To top of the weekend the Lady Jaguars Soccer team will host its first home game on Sunday at 1pm vs Louisiana Christian at A.W. Mumford Stadium.
