BATON ROUGE, LA. -- This Week in Southern University Athletics – August 15^th – August 21^st.
 
The Southern University Athletic schedule kicks off the fall campaign with the Lady Jaguars soccer team traveling to Nicholls State to open their season. The  women's volleyball team will be hosting their annual Blue & Gold Scrimmage on Friday as well to begin the weekends festivities on The Bluff.
 
On Saturday, the Athletics department will be hosting FanFest beginning with the Jaguar football team hosting a inter squad scrimmage at 10:00 AM followed by Back-To-The Bluff Fest featuring the football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading and cross country teams along with a performance from the Human Jukebox inside the F.G. Clark Activity Center.
