The Jaguars pulled away in the second inning scoring three runs. Senior pitcher Joseph Battaglia pitched his third complete game of the season throwing 112 pitches with seven strike outs.
The Jaguars picked up eight runs off nine hits on the day. In the first inning
Jovante Dorris scored the Jags first run of the day off an error by the first baseman. In the second inning the SU had bases loaded, Jaylen Armstrong was hit by a pitch to advance Jaylen Armstrong home to tie the ball game up 2 all. Dorris singled down the left field line to send Hunter Tabb and Nathaniel Lai home to give the Jaguars a 4-2 lead. In the fourth inning Jaylen Armstrong scored off a wild pitch. Dorris scored off a balk by the Panthers pitcher. In the eighth inning Rollon singled through the left side to send Justin Wiley across home plate. Burgos singled to right field to send Dorris home to pick up his third run of the day.
