The Jaguars picked up seven runs off 12 hits on the day. In the second inning senior outfielder
Tremaine Spears singles to the left-center field wall sending Hunter Tabb racing from second base to give the Jaguars their first run of the day. Spears picks up the Jags second run of the day off a line drive to right-center to give SU a 2-0 lead after the second inning. In the third inning Jovante Dorris, JJ Rollon and Tabb scores off three straight wild pitches from Hunter Viets giving SU a 5-0 lead. In the top of the eighth inning JJ Rollon. hits a line-drive to the right-center field wall sending Jaylen Armstrong and Isaiah Adams home to pick up the jaguars final two runs of the day.

Nick Luckett picks up his first loss of the season. The Jaguars scoring came from
Dorris, Rollon, Spears, Adams and Armstrong with one run each. Tabb finishes the day with two runs.
SU is 2-1 on the season.

Southern will be back in action on Wednesday, February 23rd to open up home play inside Lee Hines Stadium as they take on University of Missouri. First pitch is slated for 6 PM.
