BATON ROUGE, LA. -- Southern University announces schedule changes to upcoming competitions in women's basketball, men's basketball, softball and baseball.

The women's and men's basketball teams were set to host Alabama A&M University on Saturday, due to inclement weather in the Huntsville area, the game has been postponed to Wednesday, February 24, 2021. The women's game is set for a 12:00 pm tip-off and the men's game is set for a 2:30 pm tip-off. 

Southern women's and men's basketball will still host Alabama State on Monday, February 22, 2021 for doubleheader action starting at 5:30 pm in the F.G. Clark Activity Center.

The Southern University softball team is set to open the 2021 season with a doubleheader when they host University of North Dakota on Friday, February 19. First pitch is set for 1:00 pm and the second game is set to start at 3:00 pm. 

The Southern Jaguars Baseball team is headed to the University of New Orleans on Saturday, February 20 for a 2:00 pm first pitch to open the 2021 season. The Jaguars and Privateers will turn around on Sunday, February 21 and play a doubleheader with a 11:00 am start and the second game is scheduled for 2:00 pm.

The Southern at LSU Baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 23 has been moved to Wednesday, March 3rd with a 6:30 pm start time.
