BATON ROUGE, LA – The Southern University Jaguars (4-5, 3-4) play host to Jackson State University (8-1, 6-0) on Senior Night and Military Appreciation Day to continue Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Saturday, November 13th at A.W. Mumford Stadium, kick set for 6:05 p.m.
The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN3. Southern owns a 37-29 advantage in the series with Jackson State, which dates back to November 30, 1929. In the last meeting the Jaguars came away with the 34-14 victory on April 3, 2021.

The team will be led by the cheerleaders as they make their way from the Southern Lab campus towards Championship Plaza before entering A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Kobe Dillon who is averaging 90 yards per game on a total of 77 carries.
Devon Benn is second on the team in rushing averaging 54.6 yards a game.

Jordan Lewis continues his pursuit to leave his name in the national record books for total sacks. He now has 33 sacks along with being the FCS leader in sacks per game (0.92).
