Jaguars Senior Brittany Rose Named Second Team All SWAC

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference revealed its 2019-20 all-conference honors on Thursday afternoon. The all-conference awards are voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors.

Senior Brittany Rose was the only Jaguar to finish the season averaging double digits in scoring for th 2019-2020 season with 10.4 points per game landing her Second Team All-SWAC Honors. The senior from Jackson, MS finished her career at Southern as a member of the 2018 & 2019 SWAC Regular Season Champions and 2019 SWAC Tournament Champion. In 2019-2020 Rose finished her season shooting .355 from the field, .296 from behind the arc and .702 from the charity stripe. Rose scored 549 points in her two year career on the Bluff.
