BATON ROUGE, LA – A total of 28 Southern University student-athletes and support staff are slated to earn their degrees following the conclusion of the fall semester. The Southern University Department of Athletics is proud to recognize current and former student-athletes, representing over eight sports. Fall campus graduation ceremonies were scheduled for Friday, December 11th at 12:00 PM at A.W. Mumford Stadium.
"I'm very proud of our Fall 2020 graduates," said SU Director of Athletics, Roman Banks. "During these unprecedented times with the Covid-19 they showed a lot of focus, grit and determination as they were still able to complete their coursework and most importantly finish under the circumstances. All the student-athletes have represented not only themselves with class and dignity but to Southern University.
