Sophia Antoinette Zavala was born on August 16, 1998 in Fontana, California. She is the daughter of Lisa Arevalo and Andres Zavala Jr. Zavala is a Junior Nursing major. She earned the honor of Preseason Second Team All-SWAC selection at forward. During the 2017 season, Zavala tallied 10 goals for a total of 20 points to lead the Jaguars offensively.
