BATON ROUGE -- Southern University softball weekend series against the University of Evansville has been moved to Central High School Softball Field in Central.

Southern opened the season 1-3 at the Chef Celeste Bistro Softball Challenge hosted by the Jaguars at Zachary Youth Field.

The Purple Aces opened their season 1-3 at the Total Control Sports Invitational.

First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Saturday has an 11 a.m. start.
