Baseball opens 2019 with four games in four days

BATON ROUGE –  Southern University baseball will play four games in four days to open Year 2 of the Kerrick Jackson Era starting Friday night in New Orleans on February 15.
The Jaguars are scheduled to make their 12th appearance in the MLB-sponsored event, which was named the Andre Dawson Classic in 2018. Southern opens the three-day tournament against Florida A&M Friday night at Wesley Barrow Stadium at 6 p.m. The Jaguars return to face SWAC and state rival Grambling at 3 p.m. on Saturday before punctuating the weekend against Alcorn State at UNO's Maestri Field at 4 p.m.
On Monday, Southern will face Air force in a neutral site matinee at Alex Box Stadium on the campus of Louisiana State University at 2 p.m. Monday's game will stream live on GoJagsports.com and on 910 AM in Baton Rouge.


Admission is is free for the Air Force game at Alex Box Stadium.
