Started all 13 games during the 2024 season with 73 tackles, an FCS-high 27.5 TFLs, 12 sacks, 13. quarterback hurries, and three forced fumbles while finishing in a sixth-place tie in the Buck Buchanan Award voting and as a third-team All-American.

2023 Season
He started all eleven games during the 2023 season, totaling 61 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. 

2022 Season
Ckelby started seven games during his freshman campaign, finishing the season with 23 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, along with a pass deflection and a forced fumble. 

High School
Ckelby attended Captain Shreve High School. Where he was LSHAA All-State, District MVP,
All-City MVP and All-State.

Ckelby Givens was born on May 3rd in Shreveport, LA... he is a Mass Communications major... he is the son of Phillip Givens and Capathia Kimble... His siblings are Colyn, former Southern University football player and coach, and Cade, current Southeastern Oklahoma State University football player. He is also related to Southern University Baseball Hall of Famer, Cleophus Banks, and former Southern University Basketball alumnus... Throughout his time at Southern he has been a three-time Blue Blood All-American, three-time Phil Steele All-American, two-time FCS Stats Perform All-American, SWAC Defensive Player of the Year Year, 1st-Team All-SWAC, FCS Football Central All-American, and three-time SWAC Academic Honor Roll... oof the field, Ckelby stays busy as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
