PRIOR TO SOUTHERN
HUTCHINSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Helped lead the Blue Dragons to back-to-back NJCAA Division I national championship game appearances in 2024 and 2025, capturing the national title in 2024... During his 2025 campaign, Johnson threw for 2,120 yards and 22 touchdowns and  just five interceptions, averaging 176.7 passing yards per game... He also added 538 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns, averaging 48.8 yards per game on the ground... In 2024, he passed for 984 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for 321 yards and six touchdowns... In two seasons at Hutchinson, Johnson totaled 3,103 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns, adding 907 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns on the ground
