Biography

Akosua Allen was born in Baton Rouge, La on May 3, 1998, to Lia Allen and the late Troy Allen. Allen has 3 brothers, so growing up they played every sport, although she enjoyed soccer the most. In high school, she played soccer and her freshman year she ran track. She eventually went on to earn a State Title in Track. Coming from a family of athletes is only slightly ironic that her father and her oldest brother, Sa'iid, both played college basketball for Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While apart of the Lady Jags Soccer Team, the junior Forward has played in a total of 27 games.
