Played in 25 games at Stephen F. Austin... Starting in four of those games... Averaged 9 minutes, 2.4 points, and 1.7 rebounds per game... Made 50 percent of his shots from the field (24-48)... Recorded ten steals and three blocks throughout the year... Scored a season-high of 14 points against Lamar (2/19)... Tallied ten points, eight rebounds, and two steals against Abilene Christian (2/26)

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at North Central HS in Louisiana, where he was the Louisiana Class 1A MVP and First Team All-State selection....Ranked as top prospect in the state according to Prep Hoops...Scored over 4000 career points in high school and led North Central to two state titles.

Derrick Tezeno is from Melville, LA., and attended North Central High School. Derrick is Kevin Durant's biggest fan, and supports whatever NBA team he is playing for that season. Derrick's favorite movie is The Notebook, which he can be found re-watching while eating his favorite food, Pasta.
