Biography

Sameera Mohamed was born on March 27, 1998. Her parents are Zee and Mee Mohamed. Her siblings are Jameela, Naseema, Rehana, and Jamaal Mohamed. Sameera is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and played Club Volleyball for Red Storm. Sam is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.

She was a varsity setter and outside hitter for Baton Rouge Magnet High School for four years earning Varsity MVP, Coach's Award, All-Metro and All-District High School freshman, junior and senior year. She was BRMHS's varsity captain her Junior and Senior seasons. Off the court, Sam was High School Class Officer and DECA Club President both junior and senior years, awarded Leadership and Stage Craft Awards. Some fun facts about Sam are that her favorite movie is Space Jam. She loves mac and cheese, chicken alfredo, cake, and watermelon.

During her Sophomore season, Sameera played in a total of 80 games, recording 125 digs.
