JACKSON, MS — Southern University turns its attention to Southwestern Athletic Conference play Saturday night when the Jaguars take on longtime rival Jackson State in a matchup between two of the league's most storied programs.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
The meeting adds another chapter to one of the SWAC's closest all-time series. Southern enters Saturday holding a slim 37-36 advantage over Jackson State, underscoring just how evenly matched the programs have been throughout their history.
