• Grambling jumped out to a 7-0 lead before the Jags picked up eleven runs in the next three innings. It was a defensive battled for the next three innings before both teams tied the ball game up 14 all to force extra  innings. 

• Southern finished the day with fourteen RBI's led by Brant Stewart with four.

• Huff pitched the final two innings of the game sending three of the eight batters seen to the dugout by way of strike out.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern finished the day with twenty-four hits and Grambling finished with nine hits.

• Grambling committed five error on the day.

• Southern left nine runners on base, while Grambling left twelve.

• Southern struck out three times, while Grambling struck out six times.

• Brant Stewart picked up the Jags first runs of the day off a single home run over the left field wall. Bates, Jacoby Radcliffe led the Jags on the day with four runs, while Brant Stewart fininshed the dasy with three runs. Taj Bates added two more runs along with KJ White, Cardell Thibodeaux, Kameron Byrd, Rashard Grace, and Beny Bikar finished with one run each on the day.

• Nine different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Radcliffe led SU with five hits, while Stewart and White added four more hits each.
